New Drugs - Trial By Fire (anyone?)

Did you know that when a new drug hits the market, you should wait at least 2 years before taking it?

Well, how about this. Would you knowingly buy a lemon of a car? No, you would not want to do that.

Well, taking new drugs based on trials run by drug companies is reallly a little like playing Russian Roulette with your health.

While we're at it. This is another reason why I would stay as far away from a drug trial as the earth allows in distance. There is no such thing as a free ride in medication and many people have either died or been seriously, irreversibly injured on these trials.

Trials seems to be an appropriate term. We could just go ahead and call it Trial by Fire.

Hey, I'm not condemning every drug out there. I seem to remember that they used to actually do some good for people and there are still a few out there. Just don't be too quick to believe that popping ANY pill will be the dissolution of all your problems. There are bridges for sale to nowhere out there too.

  1. agreed agreed agreed!!!

sadly, we accept everything the medical community puts out as "good for us," but think about the laundry-list of side effects EVERY SINGLE PRESCRIPTION has... geez, if that's safe, what's DANGEROUS!?!

  2. More truth about drugs. A study in the latest Canadian Journal of Psychiatry found that prescription drugs for anxiety and insomnia taken ONLY ONCE A MONTH increase the risk of death by 36%!!!
